Glogster on Rutherford's Experiment

Hey guys! I researched Rutherford and his experiment with gold foil and helium particles. His conclusions and theories are what we base our knowledge on atomic and nuclear sciences today.

  1. Great job, Kellye! Your glogster was well presented and organized. I especially liked the video that you chose to post because it completely cleared up the subject of the gold-foil experiment for me. One small suggestion I have for you though that is just a technical suggestion would be to make your text bubbles on the glogster so that you do not need to scroll as much to read the information. Overall, fantastic explanation!

  2. Hi Kellye! Your glogster was AWESOME! I really enjoyed the glogster because it was something different and fun to read. I like how you included all of the scientists, and not just Rutherford. Also, they information was very helpful and clear. The diagrams also helped, and the explanation of how the composition of the atom changed from the Plum-Pudding Model was very informative. Overall, i thoroughly enjoyed your glogster and it is very helpful in understanding the Gold Foil Experiment.

  3. i think that the description of the knowledge of the atomic structure before Rutherford decided to do his experiment not only help the reader understand his reasoning for doing his experiment, but it also explains why it was so important that he did. also i really liked the amount of detail that you used while explaining the procedures of the experiment. i think it really helps the reader understand what is happening in the experiment.

  4. Good job Kellye! Your did a great job on your glog, it is organized and easy to follow. I think you did a great job explaining the experiment and gave me a better understanding of it. One thing I think you could do, though, is maybe change up your text boxes since every one was the little speech bubble. Besides me being picky though, great job!
